Dear Players,

It’s been quite a while since Seven Skies Online started its long journey towards completion. That journey is almost complete and we want to see all the old faces we remember, back with us on the forum and the game for the last couple of weeks of Open Beta Testing.
The Team has been working hard for over a year to give you the best experience possible. Below is a list of updates which are currently active in the open beta version of the game and some small discussion of things which we may add to the game down the road.

  • EXP Rate
    The EXP Rate has been turned up to 3x (it was 1x previously) to allow players to level up quicker so that when we are done with the 2nd job skills you will be high enough to test the skills. We do not want to raise the level cap too much as we still have a lot of content on the lower levels which we want you to test and experience.

  • 2nd Job Skills
    The 2nd Job skills are currently being worked on and should be complete fairly soon. Once the skills are complete there is not much in the way from the server going live. We will keep the server in Open Beta for 2-3 weeks for all of you to test the skills before launch. There are in total around 300 new skills which you have not seen anywhere else. They have their own custom animations which gives the game some freshness which has been long overdue. We are also very excited to announce that we have 3rd job‘s in the game. These jobs are not complete as they do not have skills a quest to obtain the job yet. This is something the team is working on.

  • Races
    There are three races to choose from in the game. You can be a Female or Male from Junon, Lunar and Eldeon. The different races have slightly different starts upon creation which might just give you the upper edge you need...

  • Mini-Map & UI
    Our Developer Arnold is now the first person ever (as far as we know) to have created a round mini-map for Rose Online. We are very proud of this achievement and are excited for you, the player to see the mini-map in action. The functions of the map are still not 100% Complete. We are currently working on the + and – to give the player the flexibility desired. When pressing the + button, the map will open in the middle of your screen making it easier for you to find whatever it is you’re looking for. The – button will close the larger version of the map. A long with our new mini-map comes a custom UI which is gorgeous. We are also currently working on an option in the client which will let you switch between different UI’s with the click of a button. If successfully implemented this system will open up exciting opportunities to involve the community in creating UI’s and having them added to the game.

  • Storage
    We are proud to give the players a storage system where you can drag around your items which are already in the storage. Enabling this option will help you keep your storage nice and clean. Enjoy!

  • Costume System
    In Seven Skies Online we have a costume system to please all of you who love standing around looking cute. Well, now you don’t have to just stand around and look cute. The Costume system lets you have a costume equipped as well as an armor. With the click of a button you can switch between your costume and your armor. The Exciting part about the costume system is that your armor’s stats will be active even if you have your costume selected and showing.

  • Auto-loot
    The server features an Auto-loot system which allows you to not have to bother picking things up yourself. This system will save you both time and energy. The system only works when you are leveling on your own.

  • Gems
    In Seven Skies Online there will be 2 different kinds of gems which will both be craftable. There will be your normal Gem and your planet Gem. The difference between the two gems is that the planet gem goes to level 10 and has 2 stats instead of one. Both stats go to 30/30. The planet gems will be much harder to craft than normal gems. In Seven Skies, un-slotting a gem will leave you with a un-slotted item but the gem will disappear. We have decided to use this system in order to control the amount of gems that hit the market, keep prices down and give artisans a reason to keep crafting them.

  • Refining
    Another way for us to keep the economy in check is to throughout the old traditional way of refining your gear. In Seven Skies you will be able to refine your gear by disassembling armors and swords. Armors which you disassemble will give you enchantment stones which are used to refine your equipment. There will be 80 levels of enchantment stones. The higher the stone, the better chance you have or refining your item. The reason for us wanting to use this system is that it will help the market by keeping the over flow of armors which usually plaques most servers, off the market.

  • PvP System
    • Seven Skies Online will not be using the PVP system that Rose Online uses. Instead it will have an open PVP system. This open PVP system means that you will be able to kill players anywhere in the world, except towns. Karma points will be the repercussion for killing players while in PK status. PK Status is when you have attacked someone but they have not hit you back. With the PVP System, you have an option to hit your attacker back. At this point, it becomes a fair PVP battle. No Karma points are given to you if you participate in a fair PVP. Depending on the level gap between you and the person you PK, the amount of karma you will receive may vary. If you exceed 999 Karma points and are killed in a PVP you have a chance of dropping one of your items. The more Karma points you have, the greater the chance of dropping items. The team of Seven Skies Online has made a very effective, competitive and complex PVP system which will provide the competitive edge you have been looking for to your Rose Online experience. We would also like to mention that there is no damage cap on Seven Skies Online. More information on the PvP System can be found on the Seven Skies Online forums.

  • Five Slots For All
    In Seven Skies Online, knights and other classes which use shields will not be able to socket a gem in them. Every class will have 5 sockets available to them. Three sockets being your jewelry, one in your weapon and one on your armor chest part. We have done this to give all classes the same amount of gems which we feel will even the playing field and make a more balanced game and PVP system.

  • Customization
    In Seven Skies Online you will have the option to customize all your keys, binding them however you want them to be.

  • Parties
    The amount of players in a party on Seven Skies Online will be 12 max. We have done this because we will be working on instances which will require parties of 10 or more people. The level gap will still remain the same as it has always been.


  • Weapons, Armors and colors
    We have added over 1500 new armors to the game and approximately 500 new weapons. The different colors of the armors will represent the type of armor it is. When disassembling armor, it is more likely that you will get better grade enchantment stones if you disassemble a blue over a green etc. Some of the armor/weapon colors bellow will drop form boss monsters only.

    Color
    Green: Demon, Dark, Elven
    Blue: Saint, Legend, Grand
    Gold: Golden
    Orange: Holy
    Pink: Costume
    Yellow: Event

  • Speed
    We have tweaked the client to allow the fastest loading speed possible. Your average loading speed for the seven skies online client is 3 seconds.

  • Website Under Construction
    Our website is currently being worked on by our talented website developer Xn. For now, the forums are up and working and all information will be relayed to you via the forums.
